The ocean brings me so much serenity and incredible inspiration so this means a great deal to me both personally and professionally and so I welcome you to the beginning of a journey that will include magic, diversity, new connections and beauty beyond what we know today.
The choreography of our seas is unquestionably special but it is at risk once again. There is a vastness to the ocean we know of but do not fully appreciate. To me and to many of my friends it has so much grace and beauty, along with intelligence, and a mind blowing diversity in species and the shaping of landscapes is truly sublime.
Whether it is around the mangroves, the reefs, or the deep I have a passion for the big blue. However, there is much work to do here. The water could be cleaner, it could busier under what our eyes only see on the surface and the oceans should be richer in life. YOU could be a part of that. We are a global civilisation now and we are all a lot closer to making an impact than we think.
TURTLE REEF by Shawn Heinrichs
The truth is we need a rich eco system and we need the nature around us to keep growing. We can thrive if we remain ‘connected’. The conviction of working alongside the seas can make your lifestyle and many others around you healthier and full with a pleasurable well-being.
This is something to be excited about. The ocean could be more packed with life, there is no doubt in that. But there is a problem. Humans, over fishing and not enough resources for the local communities on the front line. We are not doing enough to tackle one another and fighting for change at sea. There are communities that share a love for this fight and we should all try be a part of it.
Become part of the solution and help today by spreading the word or pass information onto another loved one. Marine conservation and the revival of richness in the deep and our bays are vital to our lives and we must act now.
Find your purpose and listen to what your heart is telling you, it won’t tell you to keep taking but to give, there is such more fulfilment in life when we give. I’ve attached below some brilliant websites, documentaries and inspiring conservationists to learn more about how to help or maybe just for you to learn more about the big blue. Lastly, for each piece sold I will be donating to a conservation, of which I am very delighted about.
Please visit these websites for further understanding on marine conservation and show your support. You can make a difference. The below links have outstanding research and information on the wildlife on our planet so I could not recommend them more to you.
