The quote itself is by American feminist Camille Paglia who was previously a professor at the University of Arts in Philadelphia. I read many of her writings and found them interesting reads. But this quote in particular is what I have taken from her. I found it to be a historic quote but something for us all to think about. The body of my work represents (left)to be the female and (right) to be the male counter.
