As a homage to the explorers of our world that we know today and the pioneers of exploration either by the sea or those that took to the skies. I have always admired maps and perspectives of our known world and I believe it to be a great achievement of ours. ‘ The World Without Us ’ painting was created in Penzance, Cornwall and is dominated, not by texture but by the peaceful shades of blue.
